Umbro were once thought of as the badge of English football but their standing in the game has massively declined over the last two decades. To recapture a share of the market they used to dominate, Umbro would have to do something that put them back at the heart of grassroots football. My idea on how they could do that is to solve a real problem in community football; giving the means to organise matches in an easier and less stressful way.
Spread the Play is a five-a-side match organiser app that allows people in local communities to join games without the hassle of finding nine other people.
